Matthew Douglas
Initiative Leader
Dr. Douglas has expertise in nuclear chemistry and radiochemistry. He has led research and development efforts in nuclear forensics analysis, chemical separations, and trace nuclear material measurements. During his more than 21 years at PNNL, he has filled several roles, including project manager, technical team leader, principal investigator, and research chemist.

Lori Metz
Initiative Chief Scientist
Dr. Metz has expertise in analytical chemistry, radiochemistry, and signature exploration. She has been working on operational and research programs in nuclear nonproliferation at PNNL for more than 20 years, first as a postdoctoral research associate and currently as a senior research scientist and program manager.
The Nuclear Forensics Transformational Innovation (NFTI) operations team includes Tara Lacic, financial coordinator; Jodi Giles, senior administrative coordinator; and Linh Truong, communications professional.
