Matthew RisenHuber
Matthew RisenHuber
Biography
Matthew RisenHuber is a chemist within the radiochemistry group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). As a radiochemist, he supports nuclear forensics projects, specifically post-detonation nuclear forensics in dissolution and separation sciences.
Prior to joining PNNL, Dr. RisenHuber earned his PhD in analytical, environmental, and radiochemical chemistry from Washington State University where he studied under Dr. Ken Nash. There he investigated the thermodynamics of solvent extraction of diglycolamides and f-elements. Matthew earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (now known as SD Mines).
