Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) takes a holistic approach to its national security work, understanding that solutions must be multifaceted and require the perspectives of scientists, engineers, and experts in policy, economics, and international affairs. Staff at PNNL have decades of experience delivering effective stakeholder engagement and outreach. Drawing on fundamental strengths in science and technology, information analytics and data visualization, economics and international relations, and regional and country-specific expertise, PNNL conducts technical feasibility studies, performs cost and benefit analyses, and evaluates implications of current and emerging technologies to better understand the threat landscape.
PNNL takes its stewardship responsibility as a national repository of technical expertise very seriously and pursues opportunities to cultivate and develop next-generation leaders through internal investments and student outreach and education.
