Biography

Harish Gadey specializes in radiation detection and spent nuclear fuel (SNF) analysis with several years of hands-on experience in Monte Carlo-based simulations, back-end systems analysis, detector development, experimental studies, and data analysis. Gadey is proficient in Geant4, geographic information system (GIS) tools, MATLAB, Python, and computer-aided design (CAD) software packages. At PNNL Gadey is involved in several projects in the areas of radiation detection, spent fuel transportation, back-end systems analysis, machine learning, and health physics code consolidation efforts. In graduate school, Gadey contributed to and led multiple efforts to develop radioxenon detection systems with near-zero memory effects and improved detection efficiencies.
