Get Dream
DREAM has been in development since 2012, and three major versions have been released during this time. Version 3.0 introduces multiple objectives, including time to detection, cost, percent of scenarios detected, and volume of aquifer degraded at the time of detection—performing Pareto ranking to identify the best monitoring campaigns. This version allows multiple optimization algorithms and supports both point sensor and surface survey monitoring technology, however, support for E4D has been removed.
DREAM Version 3.0
Version 3.0 was redesigned to add substantial flexibility to types of sensors, algorithms, and objectives of the monitoring network. The user interface was created to be more intuitive for new users. This version also generates advanced plots to allow decision makers to explore the trade-offs between multiple potential monitoring networks. A new module was also included to allow gravity surveys.

Dependencies:
- (Required) Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 8 or newer
- (Optional for post-processing scripts) Python 3 with numpy, h5py, glob, matplotlib, pillow
- (Optional for viewing and editing HDF5 files) HDFView 3.1
DREAM V3.0 is licensed as open source and the code can be found here.
DREAM Version 2.0
Version 2.0 made significant improvements to speed and memory requirements, enabling DREAM to run large scenario ensembles on personal computers. Improvements were made to the user interface, providing new user constraints for the optimization algorithm. This version allows for inputs from reduced-order models, such as Open-IAM (Bacon et al. 2019). Additionally, a module was added to allow E4D technology in addition to point sensors.

DREAM Version 1.0
Version 1.0 was the initial implementation of the DREAM tool, providing a flexible visualization tool to view the domain space and optimization results. This version treats cost as a fixed constraint and only optimizes for the shortest time to detection of leaks.
DREAM V1.0 is no longer available for download.
