Biography
Andre Watson is the director of Aviation Maintenance for the U.S. Department of Energy's Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Aerial Facility (AAF) at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where he started in 2020. He oversees aviation maintenance operations for the AAF’s Bombardier Challenger 850 research aircraft and Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle. Watson graduated from the Teterboro School of Aeronautics, is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) technician, and has worked extensively on the Bombardier Business Jet fleet of aircraft. Over the course of his career, Watson earned his FAA certification in Inspection Authorization and the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) Certified Aviation Manager rating. Watson serves on the board of the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association (PNBAA) and is a member of the NBAA’s Regulatory and Operational Compliance Committee.
