The Instructional Systems Design (ISD) team at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) designs, develops, implements, and evaluates learning materials, courses, and technology that improve national security training and mission outcomes. This is done through the combined use of computer software and educational theory to facilitate learning. PNNL takes pride in delivering and managing training programs and products that instill confidence in partners worldwide regarding their national security efforts.

Instructional design leverages applied learning science, provides diverse toolkits to craft unique experiences, and artfully conveys learning materials that resonate and leave lasting impacts.
