The Coastal Sciences Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) develops and deploys coastal and marine science, modeling, and engineering capabilities to empower a scientific approach to solving energy, climate, environment, and national security challenges. Our mission is to deliver trusted scientific information to support a diversified and decarbonized energy supply and understand the ecosystem and societal effects of ocean-based renewable energy and carbon dioxide removal approaches.
