PNNL had a significant presence at October’s North American Wind Energy Academy/WindTech 2023 Conference in Denver, Colorado. Thirteen PNNL wind experts participated in various capacities.

Jian Liu, a chemical engineer at PNNL, was selected as co-editor for the Elsevier book, Nanoporous Materials for Molecule Separation and Conversion.

Deepika Malhotra, an organic chemist at PNNL, will lend her expertise to help shape the content and quality of Pollutants a new, interdisciplinary, open access, journal focusing on a range of environmental science research.

Malhotra, a chemist, will apply her expertise on designing and creating modular solvents for carbon capture, acid gas separations, catalysis, and rare earth metal extractions to provide constructive review for the submitted manuscripts.

Geochemistry postdoctoral research assistant Quin R.S. Miller has been elected to a three-year term on the Clay Minerals Society Council.
