PNNL and University of Washington Medical CyclotronThe Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Radiological Exposures and Metrology (REM) Laboratory has a partnership with the University of Washington (UW) Medical Cyclotron facility. PNNL’s REM Laboratory has facilities that are capable of beta, neutron, and gamma radiation of various energies. The UW Medical Cyclotron has neutron and proton facilities. Combined, this collaboration supports radiation hardness testing of space systems for public and private sector clients in the Pacific Northwest. |

Cyber Halo Innovation Research ProgramThe Cyber Halo Innovation Research Program—or CHIRP— is a collaboration between Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC). CHIRP is a college-to-career program that brings together government, industry, and colleges and universities to provide students with a direct two-year pathway to a cybersecurity career at SSC or their industry partners. |
