  • Tethys Knowledge Base: The Tethys knowledge base provides access to documents and information about the potential and observed environmental effects of wind energy, supporting the WREN—Working Together to Resolve Environmental Effects of Wind Energy—initiative. Relevant documents about the environmental effects of wind energy and impact mitigation strategies from around the world are compiled into a table. Results can be narrowed using the keyword filters on the right or with search terms entered in the text box, including targeted searches.
  • Wind Energy Monitoring and Mitigation Technologies Tool: A tool that catalogs monitoring and mitigating technologies developed to assess and reduce potential wildlife impacts resulting from wind energy development. Results can be refined by selecting from the drop-down menus or entering a search term. The listed monitoring and mitigation technologies are reviewed on an annual basis and updated based on publicly available information on monitoring and mitigation solutions, their state of development, and related research on their effectiveness.
  • Distributed Wind Database: A collection of data on cost, incentives, energy generation, and customer data from turbine manufacturers, operations and maintenance providers, state and federal agencies, and other stakeholders for distributed wind projects installed in the United States.
  • Wind Integration National Dataset Toolkit: A toolkit that compiles data on meteorological conditions from a computer model output and calculates turbine power for over 126,000 sites in the continental United States from 2007 to 2013.
