James Hughes
Biography
James Hughes has extensive experience in project management, including planning, costing, implementing, and reporting of large government funded contracts. As part of EED, he has led field research projects focused on complex hydropower challenges in the Pacific Northwest, as well as National Security programs focused on domestic border security. Through his tenure at PNNL, James has led many internal interdisciplinary teams that involved software, electrical, mechanical, and computer engineers, biologists, geospatial analysts, and statisticians; externally, he has collaborated with clients within the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He has also been lead author of 2 peer-reviewed publications, 10 technical reports, and 14 professional presentations.
