March 6 - 10, 2022

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) has been providing technical solutions for more than 50 years to help address one of the nation's most complicated environmental situations: the safe cleanup of legacy waste resulting from nuclear weapons development and nuclear energy research.

At the Waste Management (WM) Symposia, PNNL experts will share their studies on topics related to waste processing, environmental remediation, and spent nuclear fuel management. Presentations include glass and cementitious waste forms, subsurface monitoring for groundwater contamination, nondestructive examination of the Hanford Site’s underground waste tanks, web-based tools for risk visualization, the Tank-Side Cesium Removal test system, stakeholder engagement, spent nuclear fuel transportation, and other related areas

Below is an overview of oral presentations being given by PNNL researchers at the WM Symposia, including a downloadable flyer listing the speakers by track. A complete list of PNNL’s entire presence at the conference, including posters and chaired sessions, can be found on the WM Symposia website; search for “Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.”
