PLAN provides scientists who aren't comfortable with coding an accessible AI-powered environment for conducting and documenting scientific analysis, including maintaining structured records suitable for patent applications. The system integrates large language models, skills, and model context protocol tools within a Jupyter notebook interface, leveraging PNNL's Dizzy framework to decompose workflows into modular, reusable components that remain invisible to the end user.
