empwGenAI focuses on making our domain scientists in the Atmospheric, Climate, and Earth Science (ACES) division more capable of incorporating generative AI tools in their scientific research and workflows. The project developed the materials for and organized a tutorial series to train ACES scientists on the use of generative AI, including the ethics and guidelines of its appropriate use for conducting and streamlining scientific research. These materials are now available to be used by a wider audience.
