Biography

Leah Hare is an earth scientist in the Risk & Environmental Assessment Group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and has over 10 years of experience in the environmental field. She joined PNNL in November 2021 and has served as deputy principal investigator and subject matter expert in the development of environmental impact statements to support the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. She has past experience developing hazardous waste permitting documentation at the Hanford Site for the Department of Energy and performing statistical and spatial analysis for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, biking, painting, and exploring new hobbies.
