Understanding the Installed Cost and Performance of Energy Storage Technologies

March 31, 2021 10:00 am PT

The landscape for grid energy storage solutions is ripe with options. Making informed purchases is challenging without a complete picture of how much these technologies truly cost to install and how they perform. As part of U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Storage Grand Challenge, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) developed an easily accessible framework for understanding the total installed cost of energy storage systems.

In this webinar grid energy storage experts at PNNL will introduce the report and accompanying website along with some of its major findings. You’ll learn how they calculated the full lifecycle costs of each technology and the metrics they used to measure their performance. We’ll end with an interactive Q&A session with the speakers.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required to receive the virtual information closer to the event.
