Two-Dimensional Many Particle Simulation of Trapped Ions

Abstract

This work describes the implementation of the particle-in-cell simulation method with Monte-Carlo Langevin and hard sphere ion-neutral collisions in our two dimensional Carteisan and cylindrical coordinate system codes.
