Transactive Control for Connected Homes and neighbourhoods

Abstract

Smart in-home devices, if integrated with each other and with the electric grid, can offer a disruptive solution to managing energy supply and demand. Such transactive energy networks could turn each home from a passive energy consumer into an intelligent, active energy storage and service provider for the future utility grid.
