Proceedings Editor for the 7th International Symposium of Solid Oxide Fuel cells. This proceedings volume incorporates papers presented at the Seventh International Symposium held in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, June 3 to 8th, 2001. The Symposium was organized by the SOFC society of Japan with the co-sponsorship of the Electrochemical Society, Inc. The volume contains 124 of the 126 papers presented at the symposium; these contributions are from over 398 authors in 18 countries. Compared with the recent previous symposia, the numer of papers is still large, reflecting the worldwide interest in SOFC technology as clean, a silent and highly efficient power generator with various applications.
