Volt/VAR control (VVC) problem is important for reliable and efficient operation of modern power distribution systems. In this paper, we present a novel formulation of the VVC problem in the presence of uncertainties adopting the robust control perspective. To handle the structural constraints imposed on the controller, a set of sufficient conditions transforming a bilinear matrix inequality into a linear matrix inequality are derived. Simulation results using a real world power distribution systems are presented to illustrate the contribution of the proposed solution.
