Reply to “Comment on simulation of damage evolution in composites: A phase-field model, by H. Emmerich and D. Pilipenko”

Abstract

We are grateful to H. Emmerich and D. Pilipenko for their valuable comments on our previous paper. Here is our response to their comment "In our opinion it is arguable if this observed nucleation behavior as well as its interpretation is truly physical for two reasons" [1].
