Renewable Octane Hyper boosting Blendstock for High-Efficiency - CRADA 494

Abstract

The goal of this project is to scale up the chemistry developed by Visolis to produce a high energy-density fuel blend stock mixture from fermentation derived intermediate. Fuel property measurements will be conducted on the initial mixture to guide process refinement to produce a blend stock mixture that has the optimum composition and combustion properties to boost the octane rating of the finished fuels.
