Radiation Resistance of Gadolinium Zirconate Pyrochlore

Abstract

The pyrochlore structure is a proposed host phase for the immobilization of plutonium. Gadilinium zirconate, which has the pyrochlore structure, has been shown to be resistant to radiation damage.
