Ordered Hierarchical Porous Materials: Towards Tunable Size- and Shape-Selective Microcavities in Nanoporous Channels

Abstract

Since 1992, the synthesis of ordered mesoporous materials using surfactants as pore-directing agents has attracted wide attention. Precise control of the pore size and the ability to vary the pore size and pore geometry are highly desirable for many applications.
