The Non-Neutral Plasma: An Introduction to Physics with Relevance to Cyclotron Resonance Mass Spectrometry

Abstract

The non-neutral plasma has been used as a valuable experimental medium separately by a generation of physicists and chemists. This work provides an introduction to the field of non-neutral plasma physics and reviews those findings that apply to the practice of cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry.
