This chapter addresses imagery conflation (including complexity space and conflation levels analysis) and registration problems by providing a Visual Decision Framework (VDF). A specific case study of VDF for pixel-level conflation is presented based on Shannon’s concept of mutual entropy. The chapter also demonstrates a method for computation reduction for overlapping image area.
