Modeling Signal Transduction Networks: A comparison of two Stochastic Kinetic Simulation Algorithms

Abstract

Simulations of a scalable four compartment reaction model based on the well known epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signal transduction system are used to compare two stochastic algorithms – StochSim and the Gibson-Gillespie.
