Melt Chemistry, Relaxation, and Solidification Kenetics of Glasses

Abstract

In recent years, advanced spectroscopic analyses and theretical modeling are being used extensively as complementary tools to study the local structure in glasses and melts, particualarly, with respect to chemistry and bulk properties. Therefore, the current understanding of melt chemistry, from diverse yet complementary research results are highlighted in this volume.
