This special section presents interpretation, reservoir
characterization, modeling, monitoring, and geoengineering of the multidisciplinary aspects of wastewater disposal and CO2 transport in the subsurface. In striving for zero net greenhouse gas emissions, the oil and gas industry needs transformative technology to efficiently
produce and use fossil fuels in a safe and responsible
manner.
