An Integrated Microfabricated Device for Dual Microdialysis and On-line ESI Ion Trap Mass Spectrometry for the Analysis of Complex Biological Samples

Abstract

A microfabricated dual-microdialysis device in a single intergrated micorfabricated platform was contsructed using laser micromachining techniques for the rapid fractionation and cleanup of complex biological samples. Results suggest the potential for integration of such microfabricated devices with other sample manipulations for the rapid ESI-MS analysis of complex biological samples.
