Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), funded by U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Building Energy Codes Program (BECP), conducted an assessment of the impact of building energy codes from 2010 through 2040. This report describes the methodology used for the assessment and presents the results in terms of energy savings, consumer cost savings, and reduced CO2 emissions at the state and national level.
