The quantum-many body problem spans numerous scientific disciplines ranging from condensed matter to quantum dots, to high-temperature superconductors, and to nuclei. In these proceedings, we discuss the development of coupled-cluster techniques and their application to nuclei. We concentrate specifically on calculations pertaining to the ground- and excited-state properties of ยน6O.
