Comment on 'Contrasted behavior of Si(001) and Si(111) surfaces with respect to NH3 adsorption and thermal nitridation: a N ls and Si 2p core level study with synchrotron radiation' by G. Dufour, F. Rochet, H. Roulet and F. Sirotti

Abstract

Recently, a number of papers [1-5] have describe the results of synchrotron photoemission studies of the interaction of NH3 with Si single crystal surfaces, notably Si(100) and Si(111), including a very recent publication by Dufour, Rochet, Roulet, and Sirotti (DRRS) [5]. There is a considerable amount of consistency on the data from the various studies and for the most part, agreement on the interpretation of the results.
