A previous paper described the modifications that were made to FRAPTRAN to predict PCMI-type failures during RIA–type accidents. The modified version of FRAPTRAN was assessed against measurements made on the Cabri and NSRR RIA tests. Since the publication of that paper, several additional improvements have been made to FRAPTRAN and a new version, FRAPTRAN 1.3, has been released.
