Assessing and Reducing Miscellaneous Electric Loads (MELs) in Banks

Abstract

Miscellaneous electric loads (MELs) are loads outside of a building's core functions of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, lighting, and water heating. MELs are a large percentage of total building energy loads. This report reviews methods for reducing MELs in Banks.
