Aneuploid sperm formation in rainbow trout exposed to the environmental estrogen 17 alpha-ethynylestradiol

Abstract

This study utilized the male rainbow trout to determine: 1) whether environmentally relevant concentrations of the environmental estrogen EE2 during late spermatogenesis results in the formation of aneuploid sperm and 2) whether progeny produced from males exposed to EE2 during late spermatogenesis exhibit increased levels of aneuploidy.
