Abstract

Aerosols are a critical part of the earth’s energy balance and are changing rapidly. Monitoring Earth’s energy budget, clouds and aerosols with a coherent observing system from the ground, air and space, coupled with predictive models is necessary for timely, updated climate ‘nowcasts.’
