Chief Scientist for Artificial Intelligence
Courtney (Court) Corley is the chief scientist for artificial intelligence (AI) in the AI and Data Analytics Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He is a leader in the field of data science and biosurveillance, and his current work focuses on deep learning and narrow AI methods across the United States Department of Energy and U.S. government missions. Corley co-led the Deep Learning for Scientific Discovery Laboratory Directed Research and Development investment, applying deep learning across the breadth of PNNL’s science and security missions through dozens of efforts. This resulted in a significant increase in AI publications and the recruitment of new researchers specializing in AI at PNNL.

Quentin Kreilman
Quentin Kreilmann is an enterprise AI leader at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where he drives organization-wide artificial intelligence strategy, adoption, and governance. He builds and scales cross-functional AI and data teams, develops partnerships with major technology providers, and advises federal agencies and peer federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) on AI procurement and implementation.

Cahley Jaekel
Cahley Jaekel is the Operations Lead for the Center for AI at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. In this role, she translates strategy into execution by building clear processes, aligning stakeholders, strengthening partnerships, and supporting transparency in planning and performance. She works across organizations to reduce friction, clarify roles, and create the internal conditions necessary for AI initiatives to scale effectively and sustainably. Her efforts help ensure that the Center’s initiatives are innovative, well-integrated, and positioned for long-term institutional impact.
