Transformational technologies for secure, resilient energy systems
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) researchers are developing next-generation energy technologies designed to address complex national challenges across power systems, advanced manufacturing, grid reliability, materials science, artificial intelligence, and energy infrastructure. Through research funded by the Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), PNNL collaborates with industry, universities, startups, and federal partners to move breakthrough concepts from early-stage innovation toward real-world application.
