Biography
Shannon Beaver is the Principal Administrative Coordinator for the Digital Operations Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where she works closely with Division Director John Morgan to support a broad range of administrative functions for a team of over 100 staff members.
Shannon joined PNNL in February 2015, starting her career by supporting the Hydrology Group within the Earth and Environmental Sciences Directorate. In 2017, she transitioned to the Communications & Information Technology Directorate (CITD), where she provided administrative support to the TSO Division Director and a team of 70.
Prior to PNNL, Shannon gained over 15 years of administrative experience working in various roles. Her deep expertise was further recognized in 2019 when she earned the Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence (PACE), reflecting her commitment to professional growth and excellence.
Shannon is known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and reliability. She is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and quick to adapt to new technologies and systems.
In recognition of her leadership and dedication, Shannon was nominated in 2023 for the PNNL Administrative Professionals Award – Distinguished Leadership Award.
Originally from Southern Idaho, Shannon has lived in the Tri-Cities since 2010. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling across the Northwest to support her son’s baseball games, attending her daughter’s dance performances, and spending time camping and boating with family and friends.
