Biography

Rebecca Tapio joined PNNL in January 2022 after completing a dual master’s program in environmental policy and natural resource management. Her graduate work focused on using data analysis to improve climate resilience, energy policy and regulation, and watershed management. During her studies, she was a project manager for the Pathways to a Net Zero Carbon Future initiative, acted as a teaching assistant for a number of environmental law and policy courses, and implemented internships for the New York State DEC. Rebecca has a background in high-level administration and has worked as a C-suite level executive assistant at Forbes Media and in project management at the educational technology startup Section4.
