Biography

Qingpu Wang is a materials scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where his research spans materials science, chemical separations, and sustainable resources technologies. He develops innovative approaches for extracting and transforming critical materials from complex and non-traditional sources, including seawater, electronic waste, and industrial residues. His work integrates flow-based processes, reaction–diffusion phenomena, electrochemical and interfacial systems, and advanced materials characterization to connect fundamental science with scalable, real-world applications.
