Biography

Priya Mana is a Power Systems Research Engineer at PNNL. Her research is focused on the integration of inverter-based resources (IBR) in the grid concerning protection coordination and multi- IBR interactions. During her tenure as a staff scientist in PNNL, she worked on the development and use of tools for co-simulation and distribution-level dynamic simulation and analysis. Her areas of interest are power systems modeling, power-electronics, protection, and Machine Learning based characterization of power-electronic converters. Ms. Mana is also a PhD Candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology where she worked at the interface of power electronics and power systems. She obtained her MSEE from Washington State University in 2016. Prior to her MSEE she was a software engineer at Infosys Ltd. from 2011-2013.
