Nichelle is a  Governance, Risk and Compliance Consultant in the Cybersecurity Group with a diverse background. Prior to this she was the Admin for the Cybersecurity Group and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). She joined PNNL in February 2022. Nichelle has over 15 years of experience in the military and as an administrative professional. Prior to working at PNNL Nichelle worked for the United States Air Force, as an active-duty Airman, in the medical field and a General Schedule Civilian supporting many different commanders at multiple levels as a Secretary, Unit Program Coordinator and as an Executive Officer. Nichelle also worked at Energy Northwest in the Training Department and in support of an Outage in 2011.

Nichelle was born and raised in Richland and joined the military in 2012. Since then, she has lived in Texas, Mississippi, Nevada and is now back home in Richland. She has two boys who keep her busy outside of work.  Nichelle has an associate’s degree from Columbia Basin Community College, a bachelor’s degree and masters degree in management and organizational leadership from American Public University.
