 Mike Hunacek is a Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master with over 17 years of experience developing innovative solutions for customers at PNNL. He combines technical expertise with agile leadership, specializing in .NET, C#, SQL, and JavaScript (React). He has hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and GitHub CI/CD workflows, as well as full-stack development. In his Scrum Master role, Mike facilitates agile ceremonies, runs team health checks, and helps his team continuously improve how they work and deliver. He is recognized for his contributions to applications such as Lab Assist, which improved laboratory work planning and control. Mike holds a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Computer Engineering from Seattle Pacific University. Outside of work, he enjoys wheel-thrown pottery, playing drums, and spending time with his family.
