Biography

Lucas Webber received his bachelor’s in chemistry from the College of Wooster, with an emphasis on synthetic organic chemistry. After graduation, he began work at a pesticide testing laboratory in Eugene, Oregon for two years before entering the master’s program in chemistry at the University of Oregon. As part of the program, Webber worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he contributed to the development of products used for fluorescent imaging of biological samples. Following completion of his one-year internship, he began a career in PNNL’s Chemical Biology team.
