Biography

Keith Bryce joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in August 2024 as a postdoctoral research associate in the Radiological Materials Group. He has a background in nuclear engineering and materials science and has held roles such as research assistant and design engineer. Bryce recently earned his PhD in nuclear engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where his research focused on the design and corrosion testing of advanced ceramics for nuclear waste immobilization and severe aerospace settings. He also holds a master’s degree in mechanical and nuclear engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. With prior experience in materials synthesis and testing, combined with an extensive background in materials characterization, he is excited to contribute to projects focused on technetium retention in high-level waste glasses and molten glass corrosion of high-temperature alloys and refractories with his team.
