Josh Mendoza is a data scientist and the group leader of the Applied AI Systems Group in the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Division. His work focuses on the intersection between data engineering and data science to deliver deployable solutions across the U.S Department of Energy and U.S government missions. He has worked across a wide range of domains to provide leadership on transitioning projects from research to integration within production systems on both on-prem and cloud environments. Additionally, he is the Seattle lead for the Hispanic Outreach for Leadership Advancement (HOLA) an Employee Resource Group which aims to promote a community of cultural inclusion through networking, education, and outreach.
