Joey is an L.A.-based communications professional with 20 years of experience developing and executing strategy, messaging, and campaigns for both internal and external audiences. He currently helps PNNL administer the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) on behalf of the Department of Energy as a brand strategist and digital media manager. His work focuses on increasing brand awareness and helping connect the best and brightest minds with internships, postdocs, fellowships, full-time jobs, innovative facilities, and world-class instruments.

Joey's research has focused on communications strategy, social media, technology, accessibility, media law, DEI, recruitment, Human Resources, career development, crisis/risk communications, and global communications.
